Borderlands 2 Preliminary Sketch. I just hit 300 hrs playtime in the game so I wanted to make an artwork of the six Vault Hunters. Here’s the base line-work. ‘Defiance’ half off over the weekend
Although it is not even two months old, MMO shooter “Defiance” is just half off for a limited time. Starting today, gamers can pick up the title for just $29.99 until Sunday evening.
welp, iron skin got nerfed. i’ll never get to play warframe with my husband again. i don’t blame him, though. there’s no reason a rhino shouldn’t be invincible during iron skin. perhaps the duration should have gotten nerfed instead of making it just an 80% damage reduction.
‘World of Warcraft’ patch 5.3 release candidate on public test realm
Horde and Alliance both are watching the public test realm for the release of “World of Warcraft’s” 5.3 update. The patch, called “Escalation,” will set the stage for the infighting among the Horde while adding new scenarios, a new battleground, and more. Yesterday, a release candidate build was published to the public test realm hinting at an impending release date.
‘Allods Online’ manager details upcoming Astral Academy, Open Pier features
Players of “Allods Online” have been celebrating the game’s second anniversary with events and prizes, but they’re also looking forward to the upcoming update. Today, a community manager detailed two of the features coming to the game with the “Path to Victory” update.
New ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’ gathering, exploration video
Searching every crate, gathering almost everything around, and relaxing while casting a line are all parts of “The Elder Scrolls Online.” In a video preview of gathering and exploration released today, ZeniMax Online detailed some of the non-combat activities available in the game.
I like Warframe… a lot. But I don’t like the alert system in general, and I despise the idea of locking a frame or a weapon behind it.
I support plenty of free games; I’ve got a disposable income and I write about games for a living. It’s a good match and I love to buy things for fun games. With the next frame’s release, Vauban, I don’t think I’ll spend any more cash on the game.
Patch 1.016 for ‘Defiance’ delayed, no release date yet
Fixes to contract cycling, pursuit tracking, client side crashes, and more were scheduled to patch with update 1.016 tomorrow. However, Trion Worlds announced today that the “Defiance” patch will not be going live as scheduled.
‘RIFT’ going free-to-play in June
Like many games before it, “RIFT” will still offer an optional subscription that rewards the subscribing player with extra benefits; however, the game will not require it. Additionally, players can buy vanity items and boosts in an in-game store.
Five new areas added to ‘The Lord of the Rings Online’ with today’s update
Update 11, entitled “Treachery of the White Hand,” is now live. “The Lord of the Rings Online” patch was updated to the servers early this morning adding a few new zones to the game, a mounted combat revamp, and Hobbit Presents.

Earn more loot this weekend in ‘Defiance’
The Bonus Loot Weekend gives all players a 10 percent increase in their chances to find rare items. This bonus applies to activity rewards and to lockboxes. The affected gear includes weapons, weapon mods, shields, and grenades.
