Sony Online Entertainment is making summer a little better for gamers.  During the Super Fan Summer Sizzle, all Station Cash purchases made online are 30%.  Fans will have to act fast, though.  The sale ends on August 18, 2011 at 11:59 PM PDT.

Later this month, two new types of mounts will debut in Everquest 2.   Leapers and gliders will allow players of lower levels to traverse the  virtual world a little easier.  These mounts will surely be a welcome  addition to the game just as fliers were only months ago.

MMO gaming is a serious business.  There is a massive (no pun  intended) amount of money involved, hundreds of thousands of customers  per game, and customers that play as a primary source of entertainment.   When a company like Sony Online Entertainment can’t run their games,  everyone loses.

After several years of killing animals, running errands, and picking up  junk, I’ve decided that I hate MMO quests.  I want to burn them with  fire and bury them in my backyard so that neighborhood dogs can pee and  have sex on top of them.
