**SOE’s upcoming fantasy MMO, ‘Dragon’s Prophet,’ closed beta now live **

“Dragon’s Prophet,” a new game from the creators of Runes of Magic and publisher Sony Online Entertainment, centers around something many fantasy fans love; dragons. In this MMO, players can “capture, train, and ride” their own dragons. Today, the game officially went into closed beta.

Over 120,000 new PC users registered to play DC Universe Online over the past two days.  This, of course, coincides with DCUO going free-to-play.  Not to mention, the game saw a 400% concurrent user increase according to John Smedley, Sony Online Entertainment’s President.

Celebrate summer with a sale on Station Cash

Sony Online Entertainment is making summer a little better for gamers.  During the Super Fan Summer Sizzle, all Station Cash purchases made online are 30%.  Fans will have to act fast, though.  The sale ends on August 18, 2011 at 11:59 PM PDT.
