‘World of Warcraft’ patch 5.3 release candidate on public test realm
Horde and Alliance both are watching the public test realm for the release of “World of Warcraft’s” 5.3 update. The patch, called “Escalation,” will set the stage for the infighting among the Horde while adding new scenarios, a new battleground, and more. Yesterday, a release candidate build was published to the public test realm hinting at an impending release date.
‘World of Warcraft’ lost 1.3 million subscribers last quarter
As of March 31, 2013, “World of Warcraft” subscriptions declined to their lowest yet since the peak of 12 million in October 2010. In a press release posted today, Activition Blizzard revealed that the MMO game lost 1.3 million subscribers in the first quarter of 2013. This decline brings the game to approximately 8.3 million subscribers; however, it is still the leader in subscription-based MMORPGs.

I feel shitty because I feel like playing WoW again. This is probably the quickest I’ve wanted to return to it in all these years. The turn around is about 2 months opposed to the normal 6. I don’t want to want to play it, if you can follow that thought.
Final Throne of Thunder LFR wing available now in ‘World of Warcraft’
Although easy to access, the looking for raid system (LFR) in “World of Warcraft” is gated by a number of factors. An item level is required to access each raid and even though the Throne of Thunder raid released with patch 5.2, all the wings were opened individually over the past several weeks. Today, the fourth and final wing of the Throne of Thunder opened up to LFR players.

The new world bosses introduced with 5.2 were hotfixed so they will no longer drop loot for a player from a different realm.
Blizzard debuts ‘World of Warcraft’s’ update 5.2 trailer, The Thunder King
With the 5.2 update releasing as early as March 5th, ‘World of Warcraft’ players must still wait patiently for new content, crafting improvements, new rares, a new PvP season, and much more. Luckily, Blizzard released the 5.2 trailer yesterday to keep players sated until its release.
Just as I was giving up on getting this Gossamer Robe, I managed to loot one in BRD (I think) while my husband ran me through the dungeon!
The shoulderpads look a little weird in that lighting, but the outfit really comes together in-game. IDK maybe I can replace the shoulders at some point…

Players looking to recruit friends to “World of Warcraft” are in luck. The game and its expansions are on sale today and will be discounted until Feb. 25 at 11:59 pm PST. The “World of Warcraft” Battle Chest is just $5, “Cataclysm” is $10, and “Mists of Pandaria” is $20.
So when you see a critter named something like “Chicken” but it is clearly a turtle this is NOT A BUG. It’s a mage playing tricks with their minor glyph called Glyph of Crittermorph.

Although “World of Warcraft” subscriptions climbed back up over the 10 million mark months ago, the game’s audience has dwindled again to 9.6 million as revealed in Activision’s press release today.
