TERA’s combat wasn’t enough to keep us going. It’s fun, we like playing it, but my god… everything else is just so traditional (questing, “endgame,” etc.). Perhaps a few a months away will do us some good.
I’ve been pretty hard into Dragon’s Dogma. It’s not an MMO; it’s not even a multiplayer game, but it’s been very entertaining. The UR-Dragon fight is sort of co-op, though. That’s interesting. I like helping and being helped without actually having to see/deal with other people.
After seeing the short list of previewed changes for Guild Wars 2, I’m finally excited about the beta again. Mainly… modifiers for key bindings! I’m a little disappointed about tiered skills, but I’m more disappointed about tiered traits. However, only the skills are listed in that blog so I don’t know. Tiered skills sucks, but I’m not mad about it. Tiered traits sucks and it upsets me quite a bit. Either way, tiering that stuff doesn’t give me a sense of progression; it gives me a sense of being cockblocked from the things I want to use.
/sigh XD
Apocalyptic Gransys isn’t as fun as normal Gransys. It’s harder, which I like, but it’s just ugly and depressing!

Although PayPal wasn’t an option and I refuse to let EA/BioWare have my credit card, I’m playing SW:TOR. It took some effort, though. Alongside a game card and a physical copy of the game, I’m playing.
It’s what I expected after playing the beta. There’s nothing world-changing about it, but it’s something to play. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the game. I’m just not falling over myself with excitement about it. SW:TOR is very middle-of-the-road for me. It’s neither great nor horrible and that’s fine.
I do like being able to duo flashpoints, though. Anyone that tells you that a companion can’t be viable in a flashpoint is either lying or sucks at using their companion. I suppose that’s nice.
need more on the dash! does anyone know any good mmo or gaming tumblrs to follow?
